ANILOX ROLLER SYSTEMS
Many lithographic printing machines now
incorporate Anilox roller-based inking or coating
systems and this presents new challenges for the
operating staff.
Type of Anilox material (ceramic or chrome),
selection of anilox-cell dimensions, cleaning and
maintenance are all critical in determining the
lay-down of the coating or ink in use.
Cleaning and preventative maintenance of the
Anilox is essential. Hydro-Dynamic Products, in
conjunction with a leading Anilox roller
manufacturer, has developed effective user-
friendly cleaning products which remove all dried
ink and coatings from Anilox cells ensuring
maximum volumes without damage to the roller.
