MAY 2006 IPEX INTERNATIONAL COMPANY OF THE YEAR HYDRO-DYNAMIC PRODUCTS IS INTERNATIONAL COMPANY OF THE YEAR UK-based Hydro-Dynamic Products has beaten worldwide competition to win the prestigious International Company of the Year Award, presented by the British Printing Industries Federation. The award given by the BPIF, the trade organisation representing Britain's sixth largest industry, is the only one of 15 awards open to international competition. HDP managing director David Sheard said: "We are absolutely delighted to have had our achievements in expanding sales in tough international marketplace recognised by the award judges. It could not have been achieved without all the hard work put in by our very dedicated staff." Founded in Shoreham over 30 years ago, HDP employs 55 staff and is the acknowledged UK market leader in the production of greener pressroom chemicals, which all satisfy current European legislation requirements, and are guaranteed to be less harmful to the environment than their traditional equivalents. The award was presented at a dinner held during IPEX, the massive International Printing Exhibition held earlier this month at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre.
