WHAT IS QUICKSTRIP? A solvent blend with a flashpoint of 40°C designed as an effective, economical, methylene chloride free hard ink remover/ ink stripper. WHY HAVE WE INTRODUCED QUICKSTRIP? HDP Ink Stripper which contains Methylene Chloride, is now considered to be a category three carcinogen, ie there is evidence of cancer causing activity in laboratory animals that have been exposed to high levels for long periods. There is as yet no evidence of carcinogenic activity in man, but more and more users are becoming concerned that the material may present dangers in handling. Quickstrip is free form methylene chloride. HOW IS QUICKSTRIP USED? Quickstrip is slower drying than methylene chloride/ Ink Stripper and so less needs to be used as there is little evaporative loss. Quickstrip should be applied to surfaces to be cleaned and left to work for 30 seconds or so before wiping off with a clean, damp cloth. Heavy deposits of dried ink may require a second application.
