MANAGING WASTE

The HDP Recycling of Waste Management Scheme has been designed to offer an efficient and cost-effective solution to printers and repro houses of all sizes. The Scheme has been in operation for over twelve years and can offer the safe and environmentally responsible treatment and disposal of the following;

   Waste Chemicals and Solvents
   Waste Developers
   Waste Fixer
   Waste Coatings
   Spent Aerosols
   Waste Ink
   Waste Oil
   Ink Contaminated Containers
   Empty Ink TIns
   Empty Chemical Containers
   Aluminium Litho Plates

In most cases, we can tailor our services to meet your company’s specific, individual needs.

Whenever possible, we ensure that after treatment, the waste is recycled for use in other less demanding industries.

Due to the legislation changes in 2005, any premises generating over 200kgs of Hazardous Waste per annum need to register their premises. A Hazardous Waste Premises Code lasts for a year from the date of registration. Pre-notification process has ceased and replaced by a quarterly report of all Hazardous Waste collections made in that period.

This report must be kept for three years. Fines will occur for loss of reports.
